Medic - Rules

Everybody gets hit... that's just the way it is.

For those times u get hurt and have bobo ... we have medics.

But not even Medics are gods and there are rules for them and games for which medics are being used.

For Players:

When you get hit: When you get hit by anything upon which you are supposed to cal "HIT" or you are otherwise put in state of being wounded

soldier your time countdown starts.

Now you are being classified as "wounded soldier".  From this point on your two minutes countdown is started.

During those two minutes:

- medic can get to you and beginning reviving procedures and put you back in game on place where you have been wounded

- other player can get to you and by dragging you of the field and get you to medic. When you are being dragged you are allowed to WALK no

faster than by speed of casual walk and at least one person must be supporting the other one like this

After your two minutes countdown you are still "wounded soldier" but your options are now little bit more enhanced:

- you can still wait for medic to get to you and beginig reviving procedures and put you back in game on place where you have been wounded

- other player can get to you and by draging you ot of the field he/she can get you to medic. When you are being draged you are allowed to

WALK no faster than by speed of casual walk and at least one person must be supporting the  other one like this

- you can get up and you can WALK back to your spawn point and get back to game from there

If there are no medics to aid a soldiers, every soldier simply have to wait for their countdown of two minutes to end, walk to a respawn and

join a fight from there.

Once treated/revived by a medic you are ot allowed to be healed again by any medic for next two minutes. This is to prevent people to use

medics for so called "medic camping/spawning".

!!! By NO circumstances you are allowed to return to game without a help of medic or without visiting re-spawn first !!!

For Medics:

Every Medic has only limited amount of life's. When those are depleted medic is no longer classified as medic and no longer can use his medical

abilities to help his team. However he can join the game as a regular soldier under same rules as any other soldier.

If a medic is to attend a "wounded soldier" he may proceed however the medic assumes is best. If medic decides that situation by the "wounded

soldier" is to hot for him to help than simply he doesn't have to help. Sorry to all those wounded who wont get help...but you shouldn't get

your self in situation in which you can't be accessed.

When medic gets to a "wounded soldier" he begins a reviving procedures. By reviving procedures is being understood that medic needs to "be

healing wounded soldier" for at least fifteen seconds before he can claim him as healed. In this time medic should ask soldier where was he

injured, how many shots, how long ago etc... it is up to a medic how long the reviving process will take. It can take from a fifteen seconds to

how long a medic will want to take but always at least fifteen seconds.

Same rule is applied for a person that is being dragged towards a medic.

If medic has only a certain amount of possible healing /revives that he can use and he runs out of them. He gets to a game as a normal

soldier.

No soldier can be healed again unless the time limit of two minutes from his last reviving/healing had passed.

If medic will get hit he must behave according to standard rules as another "wounded soldier" and has to wait according to standard rules. By

no means (unless otherwise allowed) can medic heal him self.

 Rules of Engagement - Distances, "Surrender" call and weapon rules

There are weapons and they have different powers. They can range from their FPS (feet per second) rating from 0 to incredible numbers...

However War Games Airsoft Club Has certain limits on this rating.

Maximum FPS allowed on WGAC fields is 600 FPS!

Every weapon that will be used on the field can be every time without a previous warnings tested by any referee!

Every weapon is tested with ammo that is being fired from her at the current event.

Every FPS has a certain minimal engagement distance below which you are not allowed to use weapon with that FPS for a shooting on another

person.

Distances according to FPS rating are:

000-300 -> minimum of 20 feet

300-450 -> minimum of 50 feet

450-600 -> minimum of 100 feet

!!All weapons above 500FPS can be used only if they have ONLY single shot mode. One shot one BB. Does not matter if it is AEG, CO2, gas

operated or bolt-action or any other!!

500-600fps were allowed on field for sniper and their purposes only. Sniping is not being done in full auto mode. Reason for being so is that

such a high FPS on the weapons is getting highly dangerous and considering that with certain amount of BBs used for those amounts of FPS

comes also certain amount of energy being delivered. Such are getting highly dangerous so we are trying to prevent injuries that may occur.

What to do when your target gets too close?

There are two options.

First one is that you will simply carry on you a different weapon that will allow you to shoot on smaller distances and you will switch to this

weapon when ever your target gets too close to use higher FPS weapon.

Second one, when target gets closer than 20 feet is "Surrender" option.

How is "Surrender" working?

When target gets close to you you will simply tell him: "Surrender!"

From this point there are two situations that may happen:1. Your enemy will surrender to you and you are free to act on that behalf. If game

allows taking prisoners...you just got your self one. If no such option is available enemy is proceeding as "Wounded Soldier" and continues

according to those rules.

2. Your enemy will not surrender to you and he will simply try to attack you in return.

If enemy is to shoot on you upon your "Surrender" call he can only do so by first calling "Surrender" as well. Without telling so and opening fire

the minimal engagement distance rule is not being followed and is thereby broken so even though the enemy may give you a hit such a hit

does not count!

If enemy is out of minimal engagement distance and you open fire at him and you hit him. Enemy is being hit and must follow the rule of

"wounded soldier".Rules Regarding Weapons:1. All weapons that are to be used at WGAC events and fields must be in conditions in which they

will not endanger other players by using them against them.

2. All standard weapons must be using only 6mm plastic BBs for firing.

3. All nonstandard weapons that are by their design supposed to be using different ammo than 6mm bbs must have their ammo inspected and

allowed for field use by referees of current event.

4. No real steeel weapons (weapons using standard ammunition) are allowed on any WGAC field or event. If you have the need to care your

beloved weapon with you at all time !!LEAVE HER IN CAR!! do not carry her on the field or to resting area.

5. No cold steel weapons are allowed to be used against other players yet they are allowed in resting areas and fields as well.

6. All airsoft weapons brought to the field must be within the required FPS limits.

7. All sidearm weapons no matter of what kind are considered as airsoft weapons non the less therefor they are concerned by FPS rules and

engagement distances as well.

Buildings:

When it comes to buildings and the CQB. Combat is to follow all the same rules as already stated above. Some weapons might not be allowed

during special CQB scenarios and battles.

Safety on field - other rules not yet mentioned plus behavior

We already know now about weapons and rules related to them.

But there are other rules you have to respect and stick with in order to be able and allowed to play.

Eye protection.

Eye protection is the only barrier between the bb and your eye. Therefor the eye protection must be maintained and

cannot be taken like a unimportant burden.

There are many types of eye protection so I will try to cover most of them.

Full face paintball masks:

- protection wise the best solution there is. They usually cover not only whole face including mouth and forehead but also

ears. The disadvantage of those masks is that due to their large size you may not be able to use your rad dots or any

other scopes because mask wont allow you to put your cheek down to stock to aim. Solution to this is fire by trace.

Full sealed goggles:

- they do not cover whole face not even nose. Mostly only your eyes are covered and little bit around them. Such glasses

must be chose carefully and should be bought under a brand of company that makes products for airsoft on regular base.

Goggles from Nike wont probably be the same as goggles from Magpul. NO!! skiing goggles are not the same! Those

usually allow for the use of all rail base mounted accessories. Though their big disadvantage is fogging.

Safety glasses:

- just a regular safety glasses that you can get in every Lowes or Home Depot. When you choose to wear those you have

to make sure they truly are safety glasses and not just pair of regular 5$ glasses from walmart...those wont protect you

at all but even more they will break on impact of bb and will injure you even more.

Mesh wired protections:

- very popular in these days. They cover nicely and allow user to wear lot of custom made airsoft masks. Most of the

mesh is strong enough to hold BBs out of your face BUT! as every seller of those mask is pointing out so will we..you

should always wear a eye protection under those. If you wont and BB will go through the mesh and will seriously injure

you. Mistake is only on your side.

Rules concerning eye protection on WGAC fields:

Every person younger than 12years !!MUST HAVE!! full face paintball mask.

Every person above 12years is required to wear full sealed goggles.

If you choose to wear safety glasses only you will be asked to sign additional waiver telling that nobody is to assume

responsibility for your decision to wear only safety glasses.

Alcohol and cigarettes.

Consummation of alcohol is strictly prohibited on every WGAC event and will not b tolerated. Person violating this rule will

be asked to leave the event.

Smoking on WGAC events is allowed in the resting areas where you can safely dispose of your cigarette without anyhow

endangering dry out woods to catch on fire.

Vulgarisms and racism.

Airsoft is a friendly game. If you cannot bare the weight of loss or of something bad happening to you and you have to

let it out the way that adults have to cover ears to their kids etc. please...do us a favor and stay home. We don't need a

bunch of people healing their egos here.

If you cannot stand different race ethnicity than your own. Please stay home as well. We have lot of players of mixed

ethnicity and lot of player that wont be same as you and we do not care! We are glad for it! We are happy that WGAC

can host games for everybody who is only interested in coming. No matter the age, no matter the race! If you will be

caught on a field letting out offensively something connected with race ethnicity of other players ... you will better leave

before we "ask" you to.

WGAC field are here for players to have fun  and to enjoy airsoft not to start fights and to offend other players.

Safety shoes.

Are not mandatory but you should wear them because their purpose is to support your ankle in the sloppy and muggy

environment of the field that can easily occur.

Trousers.

We are strongly advising everybody to wear trousers and not shorts. There are lot of thorn bushes on our fields that can

give you very bad scratches and we cannot deny that there may be even poison ivy somewhere on the field. Its Louisiana

and that is simply what belongs to it.

Serious Injuries on field or other medical conditions:

If something serious on the field happens or you just don't feel well. Headache, getting nauseous etc. Feel free to address

on of our field medics. In case of serious injuries those  medics will be there also to aid you in your misery...or put you

out of it..joke.
